Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known to the world of pop music, is an British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. Parents were Des Styles and Anne Cox. He was born on the 1st day of February 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, where along with three fellow students, he created his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding results. He was always interested in music, but he would like to work as a lawyer or physical therapy. He worked in the local bakery for a few hours to support his family financially. In the year 2010, Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he performed the song Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. This meant that his group had to be split. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of a future band that would be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. They performed tracks like My Life Would Suffer Without You, by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the potential winners to win the award. However they were in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell was a millionaire as part of a deal for One Direction.
