Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's greatest athletes. She was the first female gymnast from America ever to win four gold medals during a single Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to win consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles was raised at Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time she and her younger sister Adria had been adopted by parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to gymnastics by her daycare instructor Aimee Borman at six years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles was awarded a silver medal in vault in 2010 and also a bronze at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Biles then advanced to competitions at the elite level in 2011. In just two years, she won the discipline. What stood Biles apart was the consistency of her flamboyant attitude and the high degree of effort she put into her routines in all four events--vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor workout.
