Alison Krauss is one of the richest and most well-known Country Singer who was born on the 23rd of July 1971 in the United States state of Illinois, Decatur. She and LeAnnekymes were among the newest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass-country singer and musician. She entered the music industry in the early years, winning local contests by 10, and recording her first album when she was 14 years old. She signed with Rounder Records in 1985 and recorded her first single album, a solo one in the year 1987. After that, she was asked to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, the band she currently performs with. The first album she released together as a group came out in 1989.
