Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born April 16, 1996 in Miami Florida. She is the mother of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former bank executive, as well as Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. She is the daughter of an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. They lived at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, then moved to Victoria district in London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult, and she didn't take the time to learn English, hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the changed schools from Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in plays. In her 16th year she left the school and pursued a career as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy had always wanted to work as an actor. At the age of 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the opportunity to model.
